Information for participants of the virtual conference

For the participation in one of the three parallel tracks, there are separate Zoom links (analog to conference rooms). Registered participants receive the links via email one day before the conference starts.

If you want to change the room, just click the corresponding Zoom link. While entering the new room you will automatically exit the previous room.

Before you enter the Zoom meetings, please submit your full name as given in the registration (not a nickname or abbreviations) since we will check your identity based on your name.

Please keep your microphone muted and your camera switched off when you are not actively contributing.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions in the chat during the presentations or raise your virtual hand and ask questions via microphone during the discussion slot at the end of each presentation. The session chair will coordinate this process. Please make sure that your audio is working properly. The questions in the chat will be read and asked by the session chair at the end of each presentation.

Information for presenting authors

To present your paper, you will have a total of 20 minutes. Please be aware, that 15 minutes are for the actual presentation as 5 minutes are reserved for discussion. The session chairs will keep track of the time.

Before you present your paper, the organizers will give you the right to share your screen with your presentation. During the presentation, please switch on your camera. Please make sure that your audio and video is working properly and that you are sharing the right screen and the right application.

During the breaks, the virtual rooms will remain open – you are welcome to stay and meet other participants there for networking and chat.

In the case of organizational questions during the conference, please contact the technical host of each track via an individual chat message – you will recognize the host by the name “LDIC 2022” and the LDIC logo as a profile picture.
